Phyto Corrective Masque, My obsession
As the Patient Care Coordinators here at Millefiori, I love the hands-on training I’ve received when it comes to our product line and our services. Another aspect I’m grateful for is the insight from our two amazing estheticians. Sadia and Jessica!
As many of you know, we use Skinceuticals here at the office, and I have slowly, yet surely, become obsessed with one of the products I’ve discovered along the way.
The Phyto Corrective Masque. It comes in this beautiful jar, and it’s BRIGHT GREEN (I suppose I may be biased, as green is my favorite color, oh well!) It’s recommended for use after laser treatments, and after Rejuvapen, but I have discovered more uses than just these!
Discovery One
These symbols do not lie. That little airplane? Great for travel! We all know what havoc air travel can wreak on our skin, especially our flight attendants/pilots out there!
My personal favorite use is post gym! If you’re anything like me, I’m beet red within 45 seconds from any sort of physical activity (I wish I was joking). Like most people, after my workout, I’d like to continue my day like a normal person, but my strawberry red face sometimes puts a damper on that, and honestly, I get a little self-conscious about it at times..
Cue magic green mask! I may or may not have an unhealthy obsession with the scent of this masque too, by the by. It contains cucumber, thyme, and olive extracts: all super calming on the skin. Science also tells us that this masque brings down the temperature in the face by 5 degrees, and pictures are the best evidence!
How Does It Work?
After 5 minutes This beauty can be applied one of two ways: apply a good layer of masque all over your face and chillax, let it soak in, and continue with your skincare routine. OR, apply that same layer of masque, leave on for 10-15 minutes and rinse off, then continue into the rest of your skincare routine.
I personally like to let it soak all the way in. PRO TIP: put that baby in the fridge and thank me later. My before and after pics are only 5 minutes apart, so if you’re still a little pink like me after 5 minutes, give it the full 10-15-minute treatment for best results.
This masque has been a lifesaver to say the least, with more uses than just the ones mentioned here. With the summer coming, I would absolutely have this ready in your arsenal. And yes, as you may have guessed, it’s a fabulous post sun masque too! Like aloe, but better, and more calming!
