Xeomin Too Expensive?
My clients who use Xeomin for wrinkles never complain about their results. The main complaint I get is the treatment needs to be repeated to maintain the results every 3 months.
Which if you think about it, is not that bad. I wish I could go to the gym once every 3 months and still have results.
Area -vs- Units
Xeomin is a liquid medication that is purchased by the “unit”, this allows providers to measure out the perfect amount of Xeomin. Merz the company that makes botox has a suggested number of units per each area of the face.
There are 3 main “areas” of the face that are treated. The areas are between the eyebrows, around the eyes (crows feet) and the forehead.
Injecting Xeomin is an art rather than an exact science. We are all different due to our facial muscles, genetics, and skin conditions.
At Millefiori the price of Xeomin is by the unit. Each Client gets customized to buy the exact amount of Xeomin that is needed for their wrinkles. Some offices will set a total price for a particular area of the face.
It may seem like a good deal at first but you do not know exactly how much xeomin you are purchasing. Since the price is set at an average you may be spending more than you need to. Always ask your injected what the recommended dose is for your particular situation.
Proper Consult
When it comes to anything in the skincare industry a proper consultation is key. Our world is flush with misinformation. I love the Instagram influencer a just as much as any girl. But, I have medical degree to practice medicine and have specialized in aesthetics.
This is the knowledge that I rely on when doing skincare consultations. I get new clients all the time who think they need a specific treatment because they saw someone on Instagram get it, and they had perfect skin. Aesthetics is medicine and should be practiced as such. everyone should be evaluated and then a treatment plan developed for their exact needs.
A proper consultation will always save you money in the long run.
Medical Skincare
Just like with most things in life, you get what you pay for. For me, medical skincare is one of the thing
s that I am willing to spend on. My face is so worth it.
I love my trips to Ulta for fun things like makeup brushes and mascara but skincare is all medical. I want to see a difference and see changes in my skin. Good medical grade skincare such as skinceuticals is good for skin health but will also make your botox look longer. The better condition your skin is in the better the outcome of botox treatments.
Bottom Line: I love xeomin! It is a great treatment that is used by anyone looking to soften lines and wrinkles related to aging. Cheap xeomin is never a good thing and good Xeomin is not cheap. But if you follow my guidelines you can get the best results from your money.
Remember to pay per unit, ask for a proper skincare consultation, and use a medical grade skincare line.
