3 Skin Conditions For Best Results with Micro-needling
Micro-needling has many different quotes but here are my favorite, “My friend got this thing done to her skin and it looks AMAZING! I want that!” “I heard that chemical peels can make you red and blotchy.” “My mom told me over the counter devices don’t work, is that true?” Questions like these make me laugh, concerned and sad – all at the same time. Micro-needling can be customized (our fav thing to do here at the office) to target deep pockets, like scars, to bring new collagen to the surface – evening the texture to one level or plane. Enlarged pores
Excess oil pool’s in large pores and creates even more of an issue visually. Micro-needling has a tendency to dry sebaceous glands up to one month after the treatment itself. It also condenses pores due to the exfoliation properties – bonus!!
Wrinkles and crepe texture
Wrinkles and crepe skin (usually on the lower half of the face) and technically a scar in the medical community if they are static. And because of that, we treat then with services that target texture and scar removal. Like acne scarring, micro-needling is customized and can be zoned in on areas of more concern that others.
